Who finances our projects?
Donations. Donations from individuals and companies finance a small part of our activities. These donations are for the most part devoted to our project Lawyers for lawyers (previously called Solidarity and defence). They are essential on the one hand, to enable ASF to freely send our lawyers without borders to assist and/or to defend individuals in need, and on the other hand, to assure ASF’s overall financial stability and independence.

Other financing. The majority of ASF activities are financed by various governmental and non-governmental institutions and organisations. As well, we regularly benefit from the European Commission’s support in our operations in various countries and other private organismes to international vocation. Over the years of its existence, ASF has gained the support of more and more donors. In other words, more and more countries are supporting our activities!
